If a person dies without a will, known as dying intestate, state or national laws dictate asset distribution, often prioritizing close relatives, say spouse and children, getting equal share over chosen beneficiaries and decided percentage. This leads to court-supervised probate, causing delays, high costs, and family disputes.
Now most people do not create a will at early stages thinking that they want to leave everything to their family and that their spouse/ children will take care of their parents/ spouse but due to increasing cases of the contrary nature, Supreme court had to form new laws.
We thus recommend creating a basic will using our Will deed template. Assets information template provided on our site is the starting point of collecting assets information which goes in the Will.
